Think CrossFit is only for young athletes? Think again. Our members in their 50s, 60s, and 70s are proving that age is just a number—and fitness has no expiration date.
We hear this question all the time. Here's the truth:
CrossFit isn't about being the fastest or lifting the heaviest. It's about moving well, staying strong, and building a body that serves you for life. Our coaches specialize in scaling every workout to your current fitness level—whether you're 25 or 75. The goal isn't to beat anyone; it's to become the healthiest, most capable version of you.
Build the strength to carry groceries, play with grandkids, and live life on your terms. Functional fitness keeps you doing what you love.
Weight-bearing exercise is proven to improve bone density and reduce osteoporosis risk. Stronger bones = fewer fractures and better balance.
Exercise boosts cognitive function and reduces dementia risk. Learning new movements keeps your brain as fit as your body.
Join a supportive group of like-minded adults. Our community is welcoming, encouraging, and full of people cheering for your success.
Regular exercise improves sleep quality, reduces fatigue, and gives you sustainable energy throughout the day—no caffeine required.
Every workout is scaled to your ability. Can't do a push-up? No problem. We'll find the right version for you and help you progress safely.
You'll meet with a coach who wants to understand your goals, any injuries or concerns, and your current fitness level. No judgment—just support.
We'll teach you the fundamental movements—squats, presses, pulls—at a pace that's comfortable for you. Proper form is our priority.
Every exercise is adjusted to your current ability. You'll get a challenging but achievable workout that leaves you feeling accomplished, not defeated.

Yes—when done correctly, CrossFit is incredibly safe for older adults. Our coaches are trained to scale every workout to your fitness level and any physical limitations you may have. We prioritize proper form and controlled movements over speed or intensity. Many of our members started in their 60s and 70s and have improved their strength, balance, and mobility significantly.
We work with members who have various physical conditions every day. Our coaches are experts at modifying movements to work around injuries or chronic conditions. For example, if you have knee issues, we can substitute box squats for full-depth squats, or swap high-impact movements for low-impact alternatives. We'll always find a way for you to participate safely.
Absolutely not! CrossFit is how you get in shape. You don't need any prior fitness experience to start. Every workout is scalable, meaning we adjust the intensity, weights, and movements to match your current ability. Whether you've been sedentary for years or you're already active, we'll meet you where you are.
Not at all! We have a vibrant community of members in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. CrossFit Blaze is a welcoming environment where age diversity is celebrated. You'll find people at every stage of life working out together and supporting each other. Many of our senior members say the community is their favorite part.
Wear comfortable workout clothes and athletic shoes with good support. Bring a water bottle and a small towel if you'd like. That's it! We provide all the equipment you'll need. For your first class, arrive 10 minutes early so we can give you a tour and answer any questions.
We recommend starting with 2-3 classes per week to allow your body time to adapt and recover. Many of our senior members thrive on a 3-day-per-week schedule (Monday, Wednesday, Friday works great). As you get stronger and more comfortable, you can adjust your frequency based on your goals and how you feel.
We offer classes 6 days a week: Monday–Friday at 6 AM, 7 AM, 9 AM, 11:30 AM, 4:30 PM, and 5:30 PM; Saturday at 9 AM and 10 AM. Many of our older adults prefer the mid-morning (9 AM or 11:30 AM) or early afternoon classes, but you're welcome at any time that fits your schedule.
No long-term contracts required. We offer flexible membership options including month-to-month plans. We believe our results and community speak for themselves, so we don't lock you in. Your first 3 classes are completely free with no obligation.
We welcome members from all backgrounds! Our coaches use clear, simple instructions and physical demonstrations to teach movements. If you or a family member have specific language needs, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate. Many movements are universal, and our supportive community helps everyone feel included.
